A conference for teachers from schools across the Pomeranian Voivodeship was organized on October 16, in Gdynia, bringing together educators interested in innovative teaching methods and European educational initiatives. One of the highlights of the event was a presentation dedicated to the European Values and Migration Project (EUAMI), delivered by teacher Jolanta Wdowiak and student Katsiaryna Tsikhanovich from ZSAE school.

The presentation introduced the main goals and activities of the EUAMI project, an international educational initiative focused on European values, migration, citizenship, and intercultural dialogue. The project connects six educational institutions from several European countries, including universities and secondary schools from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, and Spain, creating a strong network for cooperation and innovation in education.

EUAMI aims to support teachers and students by promoting a deeper understanding of the European Union, its institutions, democratic principles, and migration-related challenges. The initiative encourages the development of modern teaching methods and critical thinking skills, helping young people better understand contemporary European societies and the importance of inclusivity and human rights.

The project also promotes active European citizenship through workshops, debates, extracurricular activities, and direct dialogue with experts and policymakers. By combining educational innovation with international collaboration, EUAMI seeks to prepare students for the social and political challenges of the future while strengthening a shared European identity.

The conference in Gdynia offered participants an opportunity to learn more about the project’s achievements and inspired teachers to engage students in discussions about migration, democracy, and European cooperation.
